First things first, a little bit of background.....

Factory13 Biography (*from Danny)
-DOB: created in December 1999
-reason: I was thinking that all creativity and style has/had been lost somehow, gagged by big business? Man, I have no hook ups hardly, no pro's... just rageing with my friends or by myself. How can I just hang out and design and manufacture boards all day? Well when I started, I was bummed with the boards that were made in those times (and still going on). I thought it was kind of like Communism or something...offering few or no choices...telling you what you need. My head was spinning....I thought about starting my own company..."Fuck!!! I WILL DO IT!!!"...and so, Factory 13 came to be. We have been making interesting, unique boards from day one and will not stop...we don't operate around trends. I am mainly interested in custom, bizzare shapes and big bowlriding boards. Me and the guys here skate all the same types of boards we are supplying to our friends and future friends that we are making around the world. I can only manufacture a limited amount of boards per month due to the fact that they are handshaped and take more labor time than the average board...I am in control here and I try to keep it all flowing good at maximum style and quality, so please be patient (f.y.i. I am kind of a spazz also.) We do not focus too hard on pretty graphics. I like it to be spontaneous here. Sometimes they [graphics] are rough, or block printed or whatever....mostly screenprinted...we will do just about anything custom. We can cover a deck in fur or dip it in blood for you. It is meant to reflect the atmosphere in which the boards were designed and manufactured. I want to be like Godzilla walking thru Tokyo...smashing other companies' generic, popsicle boards and nowhere trends. In the Factory13 we design, layout, press, cut, shape, sand, print, finish and skate here. Custom boards made 1 by 1 by someone who rides them. F13 offers as much as possible to our friends/customers. Double kick, single kick, flat press, longboards, shortboards, hybrids, customs or whatever. It is a lifestyle! Some of our sponsored riders are: Lance (also shaper), George (computer wizard), Martin and Mark Syp (layout), Alan Krauss (and all lake/geauga crew)Jacob and Geoff (ragers-printers) Ron Malipas (RIPPER texas poolsharks), Brian Brannon and JFA (true skaters), and support DISASTER RECORDS (for putting out great music), and of course, me...Danny - Owner, founder, skater, whatever. THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE SUPPORTED FACTORY13 !!! (Yes, I am seriously here to start the revolution that has been needed for a long time.)
