Masters Division

After a short break and some practice runs, it was time for the Masters Division to get going. This year, the Masters were defined as 35 years old and up. A broad range of ages was covered with 2 of the skaters pushing 50 or over 50! Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida were all represented as well. Very good group this year! This was only the first round with the top 5 picked to skate in the finals.

Advanced/Open Division

The heat was not letting up, and yet, there was a chance of afternoon thunderstorms. So, Pat and the gang pushed on through. Right after the Masters, the Open/Advanced skaters got a short practice and got right to it. This was a large group that would be cut down to 10 for the final.
