Contest Results

   Around 5:30pm and right on schedule, the contest finally came to an end. After a very brief break as the scores were tallied, the awards ceremony began. In addition to prize money, each of the top place finishers received a stash of hard goods (decks, wheels, t-shirts, etc). The Masters division first place winner additionally received a hand-painted deck created by Tim Spinosi. Top finishers are listed:

Beginner Division

Special Awards

   After the main contest awards were handed out, special presentations were made. To show the contest organizers' appreciation, the attending representatives from CRUNK Energy Drink and guest judge Steven Reeves from Creature skateboards both received a special, hand-painted deck from local artist, Tim Spinosi.

Best Tricks

   Throughout the day, ArtofSkateboarding.com sponsored various "Best Trick" contests. All attendees of the event were qualified, and the entire skatepark was fair game. In this way, skaters had the chance to win prize money in multiple disciplines with no pressure to perform tricks at any particular time or in any particular place. The winners were completely at the discretion of ArtofSkateboarding.com. After observing skaters all day, prize money was handed out to the winners at the end of the day. The prize break-down was as follows:
Street
men: $40 (Jonathan "Chico" Pacheco - blunt on kinked up bank-to-wall)
women: $20 (Tricia Parker - ollie over hip)
groms(12 and under): $10 (Bradley ??? - Pyramid ollie)

Bowl
men: $130 (Mark Pfiefer - big Lien-to-tail over kinky hip and almost to the corner)
women:$70 (* no female skated the bowl)
groms: $20 (Bradley ???)

Vert
men: $130 *unclaimed
women: $60 (Tricia Parker)
groms: $20 (* no grom skated the ramp)
